Day 1: Arrival in West Sumba – Cultural Introduction

Upon arrival at Tambolaka Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and begin your Sumba adventure with a visit to Umbu Koba Village, where local traditions and daily life come alive. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Rumah Budaya / Museum to gain insight into Sumba’s unique heritage.
Check in at Sima Hotel, then head to Mananga Aba Beach to witness a breathtaking sunset over the Indian Ocean. Dinner will be served before returning to the hotel for overnight rest.

Day 2: Exotic Beaches & Traditional Villages

After breakfast, explore the magical Weekuri Lagoon, a crystal-clear saltwater lagoon surrounded by coral rock formations. Continue to the stunning Mandorak Beach, known for its dramatic cliffs and pristine white sand.
Enjoy a lunch box before visiting Ratenggaro Village, famous for its towering traditional houses and megalithic tombs. End the day at Pero Fishing Harbor, experiencing local coastal life before returning to the hotel.

Day 3: Scenic Landscapes

Check out from Sima Hotel after breakfast and journey through lush scenery to the Weekacura Rice Fields and Cascade, a peaceful rural landscape. Enjoy lunch in Waikabubak, then continue to Watubela Beach or Dassang Beach for relaxation by the sea.

Day 4: Waterfalls & Roliing Hills

After breakfast and check out, visit the spectacular Lapopu Waterfall, one of Sumba’s most impressive natural wonders.
Enjoy lunch before continuing to the iconic Wairinding Hills, offering sweeping savannah landscapes and panoramic views.

Day 5: Hidden Waterfalls & Coastal Beauty

Today’s journey takes you to the enchanting Waimarang Waterfall, a hidden natural pool surrounded by lush greenery. Continue to Praiyawang Village, home to traditional houses and ancient tombs.
In the afternoon, visit Walakiri Beach, famous for its unique mangrove trees and one of the most beautiful sunsets in Sumba.

Day 6: Adventure & Sumba’s Iconic Scenery

Explore the dramatic Tanggedu Waterfall, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Sumba,” with its striking rock formations and turquoise water. Continue to Puru Kambera Beach, where savannah meets the sea.
Visit an Ikat textile art shop to discover Sumba’s renowned hand-woven fabrics. End the day with another visit to Walakiri Beach, enjoying a final unforgettable sunset.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Denpasar, taking with you unforgettable memories of Sumba’s natural beauty and cultural richness.

Cancelation :

Cancelation fee will be charged with the following conditions:

• 50% of the total price for cancellation 30 days - 8 days before arrival.
• 75% of the total price for cancellations 7 days - four days before arrival.
• 100% of the total price for cancellations 3 days - one day before arrival.

Changes in Itinerary :

Please note that schedules may change without notice prior to or during the tour. Sometimes it rains in Sumba or something doesn’t go to plan, so we might have to change the itinerary. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to offer a particular activity, we will try replacing it with a different activity of equal or greater value.
